Corporate History

Founded in 1964 by Rudolf Huber under the name 'Rudolf Huber Gerätebau' in Munich-Untermenzing (conventional lathe)

1972 Relocation to our own company premises with small workshop in Puchheim, approx. 300 m² production area

Timetable

  • 1973 Purchase of the first NC-controlled lathe
  • 1985 First extension of the company building to approx. 800 m² total space
  • 1990 Change of name to 'Rudolf Huber GmbH, Precision Mechanics'
1994 - Entry of the current managing director Dipl.-Kffr. Andrea Huber and smooth handover of the company to the second generation

  • 1995 Purchase of the first INDEX CNC lathe G200
  • 1999 Second extension of the company building to approx. 1300 m², expansion of the assembly area and conversion to multi-shift operation

  • 2010 Establishing an engineering department for customized solutions, worldwide distribution of drive components
